The Easter weekend means time off work, catching up with family, and eating far too much chocolate. But an extra-long Bank Holiday also means catching up on some brilliant TV. Luckily, there's plenty to watch across the four days.

Whether you're looking for a brand new drama series to binge, a new movie featuring some Hollywood heavyweights, or an Agatha Christie classic, this list has it all. Happy watching!

Daisy May Cooper leads the cast of this brand-new comedy-drama. The This Country actress plays Costello Jones, a recently sober journalist and single mother who is doing her best to simply get by. The series is described as a "wild, swaggering tale of love and friendship." We're planning on watching this in one sitting.

Fresh off the back of his viral Oscars interview and hilarious recent stint in the new Dungeons and Dragons movie, it's safe to say Hugh Grant is having a moment right now. And fans can catch him in a brand new film alongside Jason Statham and White Lotus star Aubrey Plaza. The comedy-drama is all about one spy's mission to track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by arms broker, Greg Simmonds, played by Hugh himself.

Thicker Than Water

Netflix has a new offering landing this weekend in the form of Thicker Than Water. The synopsis reads: "Right when she's about to get the professional opportunity of her life, journalist Fara must reunite with her sisters to rescue their troublesome brother. The sisters will set off an unexpected spiral as they get entangled in their brother's drug business... while keeping up a façade."

Agatha Christie's Why Didn't They Ask Evans?

Those who subscribe to BritBox may have tuned into this whodunnit when it landed on the streaming site last year. But if you missed it the first time, then fear not because it's making its primetime TV debut on Easter Sunday. The classic story is brought to life by a brilliant cast consisting of Will Poulter, Lucy Boynton, Hugh Laurie and Emma Thompson.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer

Sunday 9 April, 7.40 pm, Channel 4

The next instalment in the celebrity special series features Paddy McGuinness, Ellie Taylor, Coleen Nolan and Joe Thomas attempting to bake some sweet treats in the iconic Bake Off tent. Will anyone be able to land themselves a Hollywood handshake?
