Station 19's Jack Gibson is no doubt a fan favorite on the Grey's Anatomy spin-off series. The firefighter, who is played by Grey Damon, has faced some tough times while working at the station and even almost walked away from the job in season five.
Fans of the show have been concerned for the character's safety on a few occasions over the years and even worried that he might die during the last season. While he is currently alive and well, a new teaser for Thursday night's episode has left fans fearing for his safety after he and Vic Hughes are called out on a dangerous rescue mission. Taking to social media, viewers shared their concern ahead of the new episode. One person wrote: "You would think I'm used to my favorite characters being in danger but here I am praying for Jack and Vic's safety," while another added: "Protect Hughes and Gibson at all costs."
A third person commented: "Things are really getting intense this season."

Towards the end of the series, Jack's dark past was unveiled. It was revealed that he had been abused as a child and discovered family members he never knew he had, prompting him to briefly leave his position to deal with his personal issues.
Taking to Twitter at the time, fans expressed their concern. One person wrote: "WHERE IS JACK GOING?! I swear he better not leave. All my favorite people die or leave," while another added: "I swear if Jack dies."

Thankfully, the firefighter returned alive and well in season six and, with the help of his friends, has been attempting to get back on his feet after revisiting his childhood trauma.
