Vanessa Lachey is reflecting on a major milestone in her career. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the actress and TV personality shared an adorable throwback photo from her first day on Love is Blind! Pictured kissing her husband, and co-presenter, Nick Lachey, the couple couldn't have looked more loved up as they began their journey on the show.
Penning a heartfelt caption, Vanessa wrote: "October 2, 2018 Day 1 of LOVE IS BLIND! We were sitting in the interview area on the floor waiting for the first pod dates to be over so we could interview them! What a crazy ride this has been! (Also, @nicklachey with dem lips!) #tbt."

Back in March, the fourth season of Love is Blind officially landed on Netflix, and the reunion episode is set to premiere on Sunday, April 16. Announcing the news on social media, earlier this week Vanessa and Nick also revealed that for the first time in Netflix history, the reunion will be live. "We will be just as shocked as you are," Vanessa explained in the new promo video.
Being both the show's official hosts and a real-life married couple, naturally, Vanessa and Nick have opened up about their own romance for the series. In a 2022 interview with People, the couple were asked if they thought they would have ended up together, had they met in the Love is Blind pods – and Nick's response had fans swooning. The couple has also spoken about what Love is Blind has taught them about their own relationship. "What we constantly talk about learning is how important communication is," Vanessa told E! News. "Yes, it is so cliche. Yes, it is so like, 'Oh, we've heard it before.' Well, then use it."
"If people really turn towards each other and communicate, you will find that a lot of misunderstandings will get resolved," she added. "You will find that nobody's a mind reader and you can actually really hear your partner out and understand where they're coming from and maybe help cater to that."
