There he is! Michael Strahan has been absent from GMA since Monday March 27,and it looks like he's been enjoying a well-earned break, judging by his latest Instagram video.
The former NFL star turned news anchor has been subbed by some well-known faces during his absence but has finally given fans a glimpse into his break with a new video, in which he swims in a crystal clear pool towards his pet dog Enzo.
The video comes a day after Michael posted a stunning image of the view from his location. "Full moon tonight," he wrote. "So bright it looks like the sun."
"Where have you been? Missing you in the morning on GMA," commented one and as another added: "Michael, I'm missing you on GMA. When are you coming back on? You are truly missed, man."
This week, ABC News' Senior National Affairs Correspondent, Deborah Roberts, has been keeping Michael's seat warm alongside George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts. The seasoned journalist and wife of Al Roker isn't the only fill-in in for Strahan in recent shows, with Rebecca Jarvis, who is ABC News' chief business, economics and technology correspondent, and Lara Spencer taking over co-anchoring duties.
Michael has been hosting GMA since 2016 and has been a fan favorite on the show ever since. But he's also got many other projects away from the show, including his own skincare and clothing brand.

© InstagramIn addition, he's a dad-of-four, and he's incredibly close to all of his children. He shares his twin daughters Isabella and Sophia, 18, with his ex-wife Jean Muggli, and his two older children, daughter Tanita, 30, and son Michael Jr., 27, who he shares with his first wife, Wanda Hutchins.
Michael previously opened up about fatherhood during an interview with People. He said: "My kids give me strength. I love being with the kids. To me, it's all about family, now more than anything."
As well as his four biological children, Michael is also a doting stepfather to his first wife, Wanda's son Dorian, who often features in family photos with the rest of Michael's children.
