Married at First Sight Australia star Jesse Burford has opened up about the truth behind his "reunion" with wife, Claire Nomarhas, following their time on the reality show.
The pair have been one of the most talked about contestants on the most recent tenth series due to facing a number of rocky patches while they were together. The series is still airing in the UK but, as fans will know, the series has already aired Down Under, and the reunion episode aired earlier this month.
But after Claire and Jesse were spotted talking during the reunion, Jesse felt compelled to speak out about what really happened. The former married couple was seen catching up and sharing a hug as they reunited but, according to Jesse, the footage had been "edited" by producers to tease a possible reconciliation.
Writing on Facebook, Jesse explained: "Allow me to clarify. Almost everything I say about Claire that night has been craftily edited to appear that there’s still a chance for us."

He added: "I actually spent the entire drive to the reunion talking about how I wasn't too keen on seeing Claire or Adam and how I wanted to mostly be by myself that night. What you saw was Claire and I simply being polite, friendly and kind to each other. No need for a fight."
Jesse, who works as a wedding celebrant, finished his statement by saying that he will always tell the truth and set things straight when he feels necessary.
Claire and Jesse first met at the altar and seemingly hit off, but it wasn't long before cracks began to show. After Jesse picked out a number of "icks" that he felt towards his new wife, the pair had to work hard to build a connection.
Things then went from bad to worse when it transpired that Claire had kissed another contestant, Adam Seed. After both parties denies the "cheating" allegations, Claire then came clean. Since then, the pair have not reconciled.
