Death in Paradise star Josephine Jobert has dropped a big hint that she could reprise her role as DS Florence Cassell for an epic Beyond Paradise crossover.
The star, who played the role in the BBC series before departing midway through season 11, teased the news on social media.
While taking part in a Q&A on her Instagram with her fans, Josephine said that although there is nothing "officially planned" there have been discussions about the potential comeback.
"It's a possibility that we discussed with the producer some time ago. So we'll see if that will happen. But I would love to anyway. It would be a very nice wink."
Josephine has returned to Death in Paradise a number of times. After first waving goodbye to the Island of Saint Marie at the end of season eight, she would later return for series ten before exiting again during mid-way through season 11.

The actress opened up to HELLO! at the time about her time on the show: "I already left in series eight, I thought it would be for good, honestly, I thought, 'I'm done.'
"Then they asked me back for series ten as I was like, 'Hmmm I don’t know, okay I'm going to do it.' But I knew it wouldn't be forever, I knew it. How long, I didn't know. I had an idea but I wasn't sure."
If Florence did return to screens, fans would see the on-screen detective reunited with her old boss, Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) who has been leading the cast of Beyond Paradise.
Given that Beyond Paradise has been confirmed for a second season, in addition to Humphrey making his return to his old stomping ground in the season one finale, a Beyond Paradise and Death in Paradise crossover for future episodes is certainly likely!
