Following reports that Taylor Swift and her longtime partner of six years, Joe Alwyn, have split, he is already keeping busy.
While the Grammy-winning singer is busy for the next several months, traveling the nation for her long-awaited Eras Tour, her ex-beau will be all the way in Hungary for a new project.
The actor – who has previously starred in movies such as The Favourite and Operation Finale as well as the book-to-television adaptation of Sally Rooney's Conversation with Friends – is officially part of the star-studded cast of The Brutalist.

Less than week since news of his break-up from Taylor, Deadline confirms that Joe has joined the Brady Corbet film, which has been in the works for over three years, and that filming is already underway.
Fans had initially suspected that his filming schedule was the reason behind his absences from any of the "All Too Well" singer's latest concerts, as opposed to a break up, which many Swifties have expressed their sadness over since it was first reported by Entertainment Tonight.

Joe's new movie has had him spending time in Hungary for the last several weeks – the break up allegedly happened before Taylor's tour started on March 17th – as principal photography started not long ago.
Oscar winner Adrian Brody stars as the film's lead character, Lászlo Toth, and Felicity Jones will play his wife Erzsébét Toth.

While Joe's character has yet to be revealed, per IMDb, the film's plot reads: "When visionary architect László Toth and his wife Erzsébet flee post-war Europe in 1947 to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern America, their lives are changed forever by a mysterious and wealthy client."
The news comes shortly after Taylor – who is on a ten day break from tour – was spotted for the first time since her break up was confirmed, enjoying dinner at popular Italian restaurant Via Carota in New York City's West Village with her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and his fiancée, actress Margaret Qualley, Andie MacDowell's daughter.
