Richard Armitage
Richard Armitage takes on the role of William Farrow – a talented surgeon whose life begins to unravel after pursuing an affair with his son's fiancée.
No stranger to the thriller genre, Netflix viewers will remember Richard from the Harlen Coben mini-series, The Stranger, and Stay Close. Having risen to fame for his critically-acclaimed performance in North and South (2004), the 51-year-old is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Thorin Oakenshield in Peter Jackson's film trilogy adaptation of The Hobbit.

Charlie Murphy
Happy Valley fans will remember Charlie Murphy for her performance as Ann Gallagher in the hit crime series. She has also starred in Love/Hate, Peaky Blinders and The Capture.

Indira Varma
Indira Varma portrays Ingrid Farrow, the wife of William. During his interview with HELLO! Richard described her character as a "brilliant woman" who is William's intellectual equal, which makes his affair all the more puzzling.

Rish Shah
At the centre of Obsession is Rish Shah who plays Jay Farrow – William's son and Anna's boyfriend. Unknowingly betrayed by the two people he loves most, the series will examine his complicated relationship with both his father and girlfriend.
