The Marvelous Mrs Maisel is finally back for season five - and fans have taken to social media in droves to share their devastated reaction to what could be Luke Kirby’s final appearance as Lenny Bruce.
In the episode, Miriam has decided that she will do whatever it takes to become a huge star - going back on her previous 'manifesto' - and is helping Susie at the airport when she coincidentally runs into Lenny Bruce.
After a touching scene between the pair, with Lenny telling Miriam that he is going to California to spend time with his daughter, the pair say goodbye to each other, with Miriam telling Lenny that she is not going to blow her chance to become famous.
The scene seemed to be a final farewell for the pair, and fans pointed out that the same song, Till There Was You, plays as they walk away from each other, which was the same song that the pair danced to in an earlier season.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Me after the airport scene: LENNY DON'T GO," while another person added: "So was like that the actual last time Midge and Lenny ever see each other is that what we’re assuming because if so #MrsMaisel."

A third person wrote: "Midge: Lenny, I am not going to blow it. Me: oh so she means she’s not going to break his [expletive] heart, which means he’s going to break hers instead." Speaking about their relationship on the show, another posted: "Midge and Lenny altered the chemistry of my brain and the trajectory of my life forever."
Rachel Brosnahan, who plays Miriam, previously opened up about Lenny Bruce - a real-life comic who died in 1966 from a drug overdose - and his role in the show. Speaking about his death, she told The Hollywood Reporter: "I think it would be absolutely gutting for Midge. Lenny’s been her mentor and her hero.
"In so many ways, she’s modelled herself in her career after him. Even in intention when sometimes she’s wrong, as Lenny points out at the end, I just think she’d be absolutely gutted. And a big part of me hopes we never get there."
