9-1-1 season 6 episode 14 will see Eddie Diaz step back into the world of dating - but in classic Eddie fashion, it doesn't go as expected.
After being set up by his Tia Pepa, Eddie and his date meet in a bar - and after all of Eddie's first date nerves, it takes a direction he was not expecting. Watch the video below to find out what happens...
Eddie (played by Ryan Guzman) hasn't been dating since the end of his disastrous relationship with Ana Flores (Gabrielle Walsh), his son's former teacher. Much of his story on the hit Fox drama has focused on his life as a single father, following the death of his estranged wife Shannon.
"The next big step for Eddie is he's ready to look for a romantic partner. But is he ready to go back out into the dating world?" showrunner Kristen Reidel told HELLO! in 2022
"After Shannon died, he didn't really do that. He met Ana and they got into a relationship and it got very serious very quickly. So he'll have a more cautious approach, [especially] dating as a single dad."

Elsewhere in the episode, 'Performance Anxiety' the 118 race to emergencies at a commercial bakery and a bodybuilding competition, while Bobby's annual performance reviews send Chimney to the firefighter academy, where he runs into a familiar face - former probationary firefighter Ravi Panikkar.
"Ravi's definitely had a lot of growth since we last saw him. His character is stronger; I think that is a great word for him. He has more confidence in himself — he's not the probie character that we saw in season five," actor Anirudh Pisharody told HELLO! of what fans can expect from his return.
"He still gets to play the role of the youngest member of the family and that element is definitely there. But with some of the dialogue, he's definitely a bit more cheeky. It's a welcome change because I hadn't gotten to play that aspect of him yet and it's a lot of fun."
