James Marsden is currently entertaining fans as an exaggerated version of himself on the hit show Jury Duty. The show is a 'The Truman Show' style mockumentary in which only one person is unaware that everyone else is an actor, with James playing the part of a disgruntled A-lister who is annoyed that he has to do his civic duty for the trial - but what do we know about James in real life? James has been married once, tying the knot to Mary Elizabeth 'Lisa' Linde back in 2000. The pair divorced in 2011, citing irreconcilable differences - and James opened up about the split to Men’s Health back in 2018.
He explained: "My life hasn’t been filled with sorrow and deep struggle. When the divorce happened, it was the first time I felt I lost my equilibrium… It was scary and sad and made me pull everything into focus. I needed to focus on what was important. So that’s who I am now because of that. I know regrets can be catalysts for good things."

Does James Marsden have children?
The pair share two children, Mary James Marsden, 17, and Jack Holden Marsden, 22. James also shares a 11-year-old son, William, with his ex-girlfriend, Rose Costa. The trio all recently attended the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 premiere with him, with Jack posting a snap of his family on Instagram, writing: "The gang’s all here #sonicmovie2."

While Jack has worked as a model, and now describes himself as a producer, musician and engineer on Instagram, James has revealed that his daughter is interesting in acting, saying: "A little bit. My daughter has [interest], but my boys, not yet. Not so far. My daughter is...a very, very talented young lady, and so we'll see. We'll see. I wouldn't discourage them for sure."
Who is James Marsden dating now?
James is currently dating British singer-songwriter Emma Deign, who is perhaps best known by her stage name, Edei. The pair have reportedly been seeing one another since 2015, and were seen together as late of September 2022 attending Wimbledon, though they tend to keep their romance on the private side.
