Good Morning Britain's presenters have a strong online following, and fans often share their opinions on social media, and on Wednesday many were delighted to have Martin Lewis appearing alongside co-presenter Susanna Reid.
Martin shared a sweet selfie of the pair of them on Twitter, sat behind the famous desk, and fans reacted with comments like "Yay" and "I'll be watching". A third wrote: "Lovely to see you Martin. And a fourth took to their own Twitter to pen: "Hurrah, it's Martin Lewis #GMB."
The ITV programme has encouraged viewers to get in touch with their cost-of-living related questions when Martin is appearing on the show, tapping into his expertise and allowing him to provide guidance to them.
The topics have included inflation, rent payments, food banks, minimum wage and benefits, as Martin seeks to help members of the public with his free advice.
Last month it was formally announced that Martin has officially signed as a permanent TV presenter on Good Morning Britain following his debut on the show in 2021. Joining Susanna on the ITV breakfast programme, the money-saving expert is scheduled to appear on GMB across various Wednesdays this year.

On the show this Wednesday, the presenting duo broke the news that "latest figures show inflation last month was 10.1%, only down slightly from 10.4% in February". Martin revealed that he hoped and predicted that the drop would be lower. "That's essentially no change, within margins of error #inflation," one Twitter user pointed out.
