The Crown has been filming King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla's wedding for season six at York Minster, and both Prince William and Prince Harry actors Ed McVey and Luther Ford have been spotted on the set.

The pair were dressed in full wedding attire, and look just like the royal brothers on the day – with Luther sporting his red hair very short, while Ed's hair was styled exactly the same as Prince William's early Noughties look.

The couple's nuptials, which took place in 2005, are thought to be the final scenes of the popular Netflix show's last ever season, ending the royal drama on a positive note in the royal family history. However, concluding on this scene does bend the show creator Peter Morgan's rule about writing about royal history from at least 20 years ago.

Luther Ford as Prince Harry

He previously told The Hollywood Reporter: "I’m much more comfortable writing about things that happened at least 20 years ago. I sort of have in my head a 20-year rule. That is enough time and enough distance to really understand something, to understand its role, to understand its position, to understand its relevance."

He added: "I think when enough time has elapsed, history becomes less partisan. So I would really like to wait until there are quite a few gray-haired people wandering around who remember it as part of their childhood, in a way, to actually make a drama about it."
