Welcome to your Daily Lowdown from HELLO! In today's episode, we're discussing Ed Sheeran's emotional new single, Boat, from his upcoming album, Subtract.

Not only that but Lana Del Rey has been announced as a BST Hyde Park headliner, Frank Ocean's Coachella replacements have been announced and the Foo Fighters are dropping their first album since Taylor Hawkins' death.

Ed Sheeran has dropped another emotional song from his upcoming new album, Subtract. The second single, Boat, has been described as a metaphor for depression and was shared on Ed's social media on Friday. The accompanying music video sees Ed battling the ocean's waves to stop himself from being engulfed by water. Subtract, which reflects on the singer's experiences of "fear, depression and anxiety", is due for release on 5 May.

Lana Del Rey has been announced as the final headliner for BST Hyde Park. The Summertime Sadness singer will close out the concert series' 10th anniversary on Sunday, 9 July, and will be joined by several special guests who will be announced soon. Tickets go on sale, Thursday 27 April. Other names performing this summer include Guns N' Roses, Pink, Take That and more.

Frank Ocean's final Coachella replacements have been announced after he pulled out of the second weekend of the festival due to injury. Electronic acts Skrillex, Fred Again…, and Four Tet will play a special set to fill the closing slot on Sunday, Fred Again… confirmed on Instagram. The trio will follow Blink-182's headline performance.

Ted Lasso star Juno Temple is returning to the big screen. The actress – who plays Keeley Jones on the hit Apple TV+ series – is said to have landed a leading role in Venom 3 opposite Tom Hardy. Details on the third installment of the film are being kept tightly under wraps and no information has been shared about the plot or who Juno will play, but we can't wait to find out more.

And Foo Fighters have announced a new album is on the way, their first release since the tragic death of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins, in March 2022. The record, But Here We Are, will drop on 2 June and according to the band it is a "brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year". The first single from their new material, Rescued, is out now.
