Despite claiming to have ‘pre-grieved’, it seems that Roman Roy is struggling more than he may have let on in the latest episode of Succession, ‘Kill List’. In the season four episode, the youngest Roy sibling confronted GoJo’s founder Lukas Mattson in a passionate outburst - but viewers noticed more subtle details that Roman is struggling.
In the episode, the Roy children travel to Norway to secure the GoJo deal, and fans spotted that Roman appears to wear one of Logan’s sweaters or a very similar version of the classic navy numbers Logan would wear throughout the show. Watch an intense moment with Roman in the new episode and warning, contains swearing!
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: “Roman is wearing Daddy's cable knit sweater. That boy is a sensitive one. Probably the only Roy with a functioning heart. Twisted and filthy, but functional.” Another fan pointed out that he also appeared to be on prescription medication, adding: “I think he was wearing Logan’s sweater when he went into his room in Norway. I also noticed him with a prescription bottle. The show seems to be highlighting that there is something wrong with Roman.”
A third person added: “Roman the jester who speaks truths… Roman with the pills and his dad’s sweater…. Roman who says he’s dead, it’s over for him….. Roman pls be safe.”

Another eagle-eyed viewer pointed out how the sweater moment threw back to season one, explaining: “In S1 episode 2, when they're in the hospital after the stroke, he asks Greg to bring him a sweater of Logan's that specifically smells like him. When Greg brings it, he doesn't keep it, but he does sniff it briefly lol. There's definitely something wrong with him, but it's been there from the start.”
Of course, the biggest indicator that Roman is having a tough time is also included in his rant to Lukas about their dad, where he tells him: “Do you remember when you asked when my dad was gonna die? You really couldn't push this a week, could you... my sister's kinda [expletive] up about it, my brother's a mess, and I'm gone. I'm dead, it's over for me.” What do you think?
