When will season four premiere?

The show will return in two parts, with the first five episodes arriving on Netflix on August 15. Part two, which also consists of five episodes, will land on September 12.

Camille Razat will also be returning as Camille, alongside Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc and William Abadie as Antoine Lambert. We can't wait to see them back in action!

There's also been some exciting new additions to the cast. Rupert Everett (My Best Friend's Wedding) has joined the show to play Giorgio Barbieri, the owner of a global interior design firm based in Rome, while Italian actor Eugenio Franceschini is billed to play Marcello, who is "direct, confident, and values simplicity".

Rounding out the new cast members are Thalia Besson (Dangerous Waters) as Genevieve, Laurent's 20-something daughter from a past relationship, Anna Galiena (Jamón, jamón) as Marcello's mother Antonia Muratori, and Raoul Bova (The Tourist) as Giancarlo, a "charming, self-assured, and successful Roman commercial director" who used to be Sylvie's film professor.

What will the new series be about?

Season three of Emily in Paris ended on a major cliffhanger. But thankfully, the show's leading lady, Lily Collins, has revealed that the fourth instalment will pick up where the finale left off.

Who will Emily choose?

In a teaser for season four, the actress said: "So much happened that we just need answers to. Is Alfie still heartbroken? Will Gabriel get his Michelin star? Will Mindy and the band go to Eurovision? And what about Camille? Will Sylvie's rekindled love last? And the question on all of our minds. Will Emily and Gabriel finally get together?"

Promising "more fun, more fashion," and plenty of drama, Lily's big reveal soon followed. "Emily is going to have to decide whether everything she's always wanted is really what she needs," the star continued. "And while Emily's heart will always remain true to Paris, don't be surprised to find her on a Roman holiday."

Referencing Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck's iconic movie from 1953, Lily confirmed that season four is mixing things up and heading to Italy.

Meanwhile, the show's creator Darren Star has shared a few details about the series. In an interview with TV Guide, the 63-year-old said: "Season 4 is going to be more about navigating complicated relationships; personal relationships and work relationships, and how they come into conflict with each other…Emily is still going to be working with Alfie, Gabriel, and Camille. Those work relationships are really fraught with emotional conflicts."

Season 3 ended on a huge cliffhanger

Darren was also asked if he knows who Emily will end up with in the end, and the answer is surprising. "There are more chapters before we get anywhere near that," he explained. "I don't have one strong idea at the moment of who she is going to be with."

The official synopsis reads: "After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel's misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel's expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie's worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed.

Emily is reeling from the dramatic events of season 3 in the new episodes

"At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they're forced to get thrifty. Emily and Gabriel's chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they've dreamed of."

Season three's cliffhanger ending

Season three ended rather dramatically as Camille decided to call off her last-minute wedding to Gabriel, confronting her fiancé about his feelings for Emily at the altar. Emily's boyfriend Alfie was understandably upset by this and followed Camille as she walked out the door, leaving Gabriel and Emily to pick up the pieces.

Lucas Bravo returns as Gabriel

Just when we thought things couldn't get any more intense, Gabriel dropped a huge bombshell. "Camille didn't come back from Greece to revive our relationship. She came back to tell me that she's pregnant," he revealed, leaving the episode on a huge cliffhanger. What will Emily do? We'll just have to wait and see.
