The Strawbridges have touched down in the UK, and as they kicked off their book tour, the family headed to Bristol. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Escape to the Chateau stars Angel and Dick revealed that the family have been enjoying a spot of sightseeing at Clifton Suspension Bridge – one of the city's most iconic landmarks.

Posting a family selfie alongside their two children, Arthur and Dorothy, the TV stars wrote: "Beautiful Bristol! See you at the Hippodrome tonight! Xxx @bristolhipp."

Sparking a major reaction from fans, several shared their delight in the comments. "Chilly! Welcome back to the UK!" wrote one. "Very excited! Lovely photo," added another. Meanwhile, a third penned: "Enjoy your visit! Please consider doing another show at the Chateau. Miss being a part of your Chateau family."

Currently, the Strawbridges are busier than ever. This month, the family hosted two "exclusive and intimate evenings" at The Bristol Hippodrome on 22 October, before heading to The London Barbican on 23 October. The show is described as "highly entertaining" and features "fun, games and the chance to pose your own questions".

The Strawbridges are in the UK for their Forever Home book tour

With the Escape to the Chateau stars back in the UK this month, the family have been questioned over their future at their 19th-century home in France. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter over the weekend, former army officer Dick was asked whether the family will continue to live in the Château de la Motte Husson.

"Well we're back in the UK for a couple of days launching our new book … 'Forever Home' … maybe that answers the question 'do we still live in the chateau?'" he wrote, suggesting that the family have no plans to leave their home anytime soon.

Speaking exclusively to HELLO! in May, Angel explained that while the family has made a number of renovations to the property, both on and off the show, their work is far from over.

Asked what's next on the agenda, Angel said: "We would like to get to a stage where all our windows are replaced! It's a massive undertaking. We started at the end of last year and it's the final big job. Once it's done, it means the chateau should never be a burden for Arthur and Dorothy."

While updates on the chateau have proved challenging, the Strawbridges have loved every minute of it. Reflecting on her most emotional renovation, Angel told HELLO!: "There have been many! Seeing the chateau exterior finished with the new render and roof was a big deal for us.

"Not just because it looked so utterly stunning, but we also knew it was a job Arthur and Dorothy, and their children in turn, will never have to worry about."
