Fans were loving the moment, with one also commenting: “Loved Layton and Nikita’s level of casualness (in terms of dialogue)… especially considering the dance itself was on fire.” Another person added: “Team Lakita and whatever Krishnan and Lauren’s team name is because both pairs are clearly having so much fun.”

Fans were also loving Krishnan Guru-Murphy and Lauren Oakley’s performance, where she can be heard encouraging him. Krishnan commented, writing: “If you have @laurenmayoakley shouting ‘Go Baby Go!’ at the end of your dance… You Go!!!!”

Layton has revealed that he has been the victim of social media trolling following his participation on Strictly, and recently posted a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, which read: “Instead of coming at me with hateful comments, use your energy to shower your fave celeb with love instead. Pretty sure it will make us all feel much better!”
