Jessica Gunning is unrecognisable in gorgeous BAFTA look
How stunning does the Baby Reindeer star look tonight?! Check out her gorgeous red carpet look here!
Ella Eyre wows in fantastic performance
Ah wow, that was amazing! I used to LOVE Ella Eyre, her collab with Rudimental Waiting All Night was my song of the summer back in the day, and I think she's done it again with Ain't No Love That Blind.
Also, you have to love Rob and Romesh wasting time as they cleared the stage on and off.
Ryan Cawood picks up the BAFTA for Happy Valley
I love this! The Happy Valley gang got Rhys Connah, who has played Ryan since he was a youngster, to pick up the gong for Most Memorable Moment on his own in a very funny and sweet moment. Look at the BAFTA audience clapping like proud parents!
Sarah Lancashire wins Best Actress
Yes! Sarah Lancashire has taken home the BAFTA for Best Actress for her turn as Catherine Cawood in Happy Valley. Probably my all-time favourite actress in my all-time favourite TV show. Champagne, anyone?!
Speaking about the win, she said: "I feel very, very privileged to have been surrounded by these brilliant actors. Thank you to the BBC for giving this very British drama a very British home."
Liz Carr's documentary
Silent Witness star Liz Carr presented an award and took the opportunity to plug her own, so we'll do the same. Better Off Dead? will be out next week, thanks Liz!
In memoriam doesn't leave a dry eye
Stars we have lost in the last few months including Brian McCardie, Michael Parkinson, John Savident, Annie Nightingale, Chance Perdomo, Bernard Hill, Haydn Gwynne, Jonnie Irwin, Dave Myers and Matthew Perry.
Is that Will from The Inbetweeners?
I just did an actual doubletake and it is! Simon Bird himself is the director of the BAFTA-winning Such Brave Girls, where he stood in the back because he "doesn't like cameras". We see you Will!
Prince William makes a surprise appearance
In a surprising video chat, BAFTA President Prince William thanked and congratulated Baroness Floella Benjamin, who received the BAFTA Fellowship.
I love Lenny Rush
That's it. That's the live update.
What a legend. I can't wait for Am I Being Unreasonable season 2!
How brilliant was that?
Well I had the best time, and I hope you did too.
Top Boy, Happy Valley and The Sixth Commandment were the biggest winners of the night with two accolades each, a huge well done to Rob and Romesh for an excellent presenting job well done, and to the winners for some iconic speeches. See you next year!
