It was the Australian TV programme which shot Kylie Minogue and numerous others to stardom, and now as Neighbours celebrates 30 years on our TV screens, Kylie, Margot Robbie, Guy Pearce and more have reflected on their time with the show. Kylie, who along with Jason Donovan, joined the show in 1986, spoke during the Neighbours: The Stars Reunite show which aired on Monday.
"I love Charlene's first scene, where she tried to break into a house," said Kylie. "I punched him [Jason Donovan]. It was a good start. She was a tomboy, it was a perfect first scene."
Fans still consider Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue's on-screen relationship Neighbours' best
Kylie and Jason played on-screen - and at the time off-screen - lovers, and their character's Charlene and Scott's wedding ceremony has become one of the soap's defining moments.
"There was a lot happening with that dress. The poofy sleeves, it was...wow," she said nostalgically during the show.
"Even though it was make believe there was lots of excitement, I wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else."
She added: "The fact I'm talking about it 27 years after leaving... I feel nostalgic. So many people have so much affection for the show."

Twenty-four old Margot Robbie, who starred in Wolf of Wall Street with Leonardo DiCaprio and currently stars alongside Will Smith in heist thriller Focus, also got her big break on the show.
"I miss being on the show, I miss being in Australia," she said, adding: "I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Neighbours... No way.
"When I auditioned for Wolf of Wall Street, Martin Scorsese had heard of Neighbours but had never seen any episodes before. It's a stepping stone between us and the rest of world.
"When I went to America, people said, "Oh yes, I've heard of that, Kylie was in it.'."
Russell Crowe only starred in a few episodes but is still widely remembered
Golden-Globe nominee Guy Pearce admitted that he had only signed on to the show for two weeks before they lengthened his contract. "I had never shot anything yet, and within two weeks they said 'how about a year?' I thought 'wow!'."
Other famous faces who got their start in Neighbours include The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, Russell Crowe, and Jesse Spencer, who after the show worked on US TV dramas House and Chicago Fire.
Natalie Imbruglia and Delta Goodrem both also starred in the show, and left to follow in Kylie's footsteps, with pop careers.
