With her tumbling brunette locks and peaches-and-cream complexion, Katie Homes is a true Hollywood beauty. The actress recently teamed up with Bobbi Brown for a new cosmetic collaboration. And this week she demonstrated the power of self-advertising during a special appearance on Good Morning America.
With her tresses falling around her shoulders, fresh-faced Katie, 34, looked picture perfect as she sat down with host Robin Roberts to promote her new make-up line. The star, who is currently the face of Bobbi Brown and Alterna haircare, also did a good job of showcasing her clothing label, Holmes & Yang. Katie chose to wear an olive green trench coat and white blouse from her line, teamed with elegant black shorts, patterned tights and black heels. The kind-hearted mum-of-one wanted to give something back during her GMA appearance. Joined by her cosmetic collaborator Bobbi, Katie gave makeovers to women who were recovering from breast cancer.
After the interview, host Robin tweeted, "Many thanks to @BobbiBrown and the stunning Katie Holmes for stopping by @GMA! The make-up lessons were a great touch too!"Katie's promotional jaunt continued with a stop at a Sephora store in Manhattan to promote her Alterna haircare line.
Her gorgeous mane is certainly helping boost sales for the New York-based beauty brand.
Katie joined the company earlier this year — and since she signed on, the company has doubled its business in Sephora in the last three years.
The company decided to move to New York from California last year to be closer to the beauty industry and "put a face to the brand".Katie was a natural choice, both because she transformed her life and because she is a mother who is gorgeous, fashionable and lives in New York, said Alterna CEO Joan Malloy.
