Kate Middleton has been crowned Britain's number one beauty icon for the third year running.The Duchess of Cambridge, who is known for her flawless make-up and trademark cascading curls, fought off tough competition from TV presenter Holly Willoughby and superstar Beyoncé, who came second and third respectively, to be honoured with the title.Fourth place went to singer Cheryl Cole, who never looks anything short of immaculate, while Strictly Come Dancing champion Abbey Clancy took the fifth spot.
Coming in sixth place was Hollywood A-lister Angelina Jolie, who is known for her stunning red carpet appearances on the arm of her partner Brad Pitt, and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger was seventh.
It’s no surprise Nicole made the top ten – she wowed with her consistently flawless X Factor live shows appearances.
Eighth place went to singer Adele, while fashion designer Victoria Beckham came in at number nine.
Forty-two per cent said seeing celebrities look amazing makes them take better care of their own appearance.
The study, which was conducted by Superdrug and polled 2000 British women, also found that just under half of women are envious of the way celebrities look, and one quarter look to their favourites for inspiration on what to wear and how to look.
Newest supermodel on the block Cara Delevingne took the tenth spot.
