Kim Kardashian never looks anything short of flawless. The reality TV star is known for her radiant complexion and HELLO! Online has discovered that it is partly thanks to a beauty drink.Along with Lady Gaga and Drew Barrymore, the fiancée of Kanye West is a fan of the nutrient-rich drinks.
"On top of high quality foods, a growing body of evidence is proving certain nutrients can further support the health of your skin," beauty nutritionist Paula Simpson told Healthy Hollywood.
She goes on to list the key ingredients of the drinks that include fatty acids, antioxidants, prebiotics and probiotics.
Paula added that going green is best for your complexion.
"Greens or cleansing foods supercharge the body and support the eliminative organs such as the digestive system to support optimal nutrient absorption and remove byproducts or toxins before they can be absorbed into the bloodstream and get to the skin," she said. "Spinach, kale, dandelion greens or concentrated greens, such as wheatgrass, barley grass, spirulina are great to add to smoothies for a detox boost."
She advises her clients to pair the beauty drinks with a Mediterranean style diet and oral-based health products that contain targeted nutrients. "To complement diet, nutricosmetics can deliver skin nutrition focused formulas to help protect, renew skin cells and potentially delay accelerated skin ageing. Over time, this combined approach can bring out the best in the health and vitality of your skin."
