To celebrate Prince George's first birthday, a nail care brand has created the world's most expensive nail file and nail clipper for children. With a price tag of £1million, the fit-for-a-prince set by Stylfile – founded by former Apprentice winner Tom Pellereau — comprises an 18-carat gold nail clipper with a handle boasting over 350 one-carat diamonds, each valued at over £2,000. The standard nail file has also been given a makeover – the emery abrasive has been replaced by diamond dust to ensure the smoothest possible finish.
The £1million nail care set
Craftsmen spent nearly 10 weeks designing and developing the luxurious nail set, using only the most coveted materials to create a gift to commemorate the birthday of the third in line to the throne. "Royalty or not, cutting babies' nails is a tricky task that all parents need a solution to," Apprentice star Tom said. "However, only the best will do for the third in line to the throne so we went back to the drawing board to transform the Nipper Clipper into a nail clipper that really is fit for Prince. We hope that this will make nail cutting much less of a core!"
The set was created to mark Prince George's first birthday
The extravagant nail set will go on sale to celebrate the birthday of the little royal. For non-royal parents whose budget won't allow for such an extravagance, Stylfile have a non-diamond version, the Nipper Clipper, price at £9.99.
