The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, rarely strays from her signature Chelsea blowdry. But the pregnant royal showed off an elegant new hairstyle as she stepped out on Wednesday.Looking radiant, the striking brunette was wearing her hair in a half-up, half-down 'do. Part of her hair had been tied up using a lock of her own strands for a polished finished while the ends of her long locks had been styled into bouncy curls.

Kate was carrying out a double engagement in Staffordshire and the West Midlands, visiting two charities – the East Angelia's Children's Hostpices (EACH) and Action for Children.
The royal, who is seven months pregnant, covered up her blossoming baby bump in a blue coat. She paired the slightly baggy number with dark blue suede court shoes and a matching clutch.

They were remodelled into drop earrings for the Duchess who wore them for the first time when she and William watched Andy Murray from the Royal Box at Wimbledon in 2011.Arriving at her first engagement in Stoke-on-Trent, Kate beamed as she waved to the crowds waiting in the sunshine.
The Duchess was touring the Emma Bridgewater factory, where she was able to see up close and personal how the earthenware products are made and decorated. The pottery company have produced a new range of mugs specifically for EACH, to help raise money for one of its local hospices The Nook, which the charity calls "a sheltered spot" and "a safe place" in the heart of Norfolk.
Kate accessorised with the diamond and sapphire earrings that husband Prince William gifted to her shortly after they tied the knot in 2011.The drop earrings, which match her engagement ring, were originally studs and belonged to William's late mother Princess Diana of Wales. They were among Diana's most treasured jewels and she wore them at countless events in the 80s and 90s.
