Gigi Hadid has gone for a blue dip-dye

The young model gave her 5.2 million Instagram followers a sneak peek at her new look, in a gorgeous selfie showing off her edgy new hairstyle, which she wore down in a sleek and straight style. To complement her colourful hair, Gigi added a slick of burgundy lipstick and black winged eyeliner for a gothic vibe.

This marks the first time that Gigi has undergone a dramatic change when it comes to her hair – she rarely experiments with the colour, often preferring to stick to her trademark blonde locks.

However, Gigi is no stranger to trying out new looks – her job as a model requires her to be versatile, and her natural beauty has seen her land major campaigns including Balmain and Topshop.

Gigi recently opened up about her career

The daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Yolanda Foster recently opened up about her career, admitting that she had been told by some agencies that she needed to 'lose a lot of weight' to become a model.

"When I first went to visit different agencies in New York, a lot of them were like, you have to lose a lot of weight," she told the Daily Mail Australia. "I would cry at night and my mom [Yolanda Foster] would be like, “We’re going to find the [right] people."

Not willing to change her body shape, Gigi eventually signed with IMG Models and was quick to make a name for herself in the industry.

"It’s funny because once you start to embrace what you have, it starts to be what you’re known for," she said.
