Is there anything Gwyneth Paltrow won't do in the name of beauty? The skincare guru, who is always sharing her best beauty tips, has revealed that she has had bees sting her to improve her radiant skin, but: "Man, it's painful."
The 43-year-old, who launched her skincare range in March, opened up about the out of ordinary method, saying: "I've been stung by bees. It’s a thousands of years old treatment called apitherapy," she told The New York Times.
"People use it to get rid of inflammation and scarring. It’s actually pretty incredible if you research it. But, man, it’s painful."

Gwyneth also swears by non-toxic products when it comes to skincare and she says this is the reason she is having trouble with fragrances.
The best ever beauty tips from the stars
"I collect some fragrances, but recently my head of beauty said you have to stop wearing fragrance because it’s unregulated and all that," she told the publication. "We’re having a fight about it. The problem is, I think essential oils haven’t mastered the art of being subtle and layered."
The star's latest beauty collection, which she created in partnership with Juice Beauty and her company Goop, features six all-natural, organic products from eye creams to face masks.

This skincare range is the latest step in Gwyneth's quest to conquer the world of beauty – earlier this year she also launched an organic make-up range, also in collaboration with Juice Beauty, which included "clean" products from lipsticks to blushers, which are also vegan-friendly.
The Hollywood actress' love for health and skincare seems to have inspired her daughter Apple. The mother-of-two revealed that her 11-year-old is "very into beauty" and taught her mum how to save time when applying her make-up, even buying her a handy present.
"I'm not very good at putting on make-up, which is, I think, a result of having had my make-up done for 20 plus years," the Oscar-winning actress told Into the Gloss. "But now I can do the foundation, a little cheek, and some mascara. Luckily I have my own foundation colour because I helped develop it.
"The Juice Beauty Illuminating Primer and Serum Foundation are foolproof and great. I just apply the primer with my fingers like a moisturizer, and then with the foundation I use one of those little Beautyblenders. My daughter gave it to me—she’s very into beauty products."
