Top 5 organic beauty must-haves

September 21, 2016

This week (19th-25th September) marks the Soil Association’s annual Organic Beauty Week, but with so many brands nowadays claiming to be organic and all-natural, it can be hard to know which ones really are. We’ve picked out some of our all-time favourite (and Soil Association certified!) skincare products that you have to get your hands on.

Skin & Tonic Lip Balms, £3.50

Containing a mix of shea butter, beeswax and coconut oil, these lip balms really work to soften sore, chapped lips and the unique oval shape makes on the go touch-ups even easier.

Neal's Yard Remedies Deliciously Ella Rose, Lime & Cucumber Moisturiser, £25

This new moisturiser from Neal’s Yard Remedies’ debut collaboration with food blogger Ella Woodward (aka Deliciously Ella) is light and fast-absorbing, making it a perfect base under make-up. Made with cucumber, avocado oil and cocoa butter, it’s also gentle enough for even sensitive complexions.

Herbfarmacy Mallow Beauty Balm, £18

If you’re someone who shies away from using oils, give this a go. It applies as a balm, but melts on contact with the skin into a light serum consistency. Particularly useful during the winter months, it’s great for soothing dry, itchy skin.

Voya Angelicus Serratus Nourishing Body Oil, £32

We spend so much time worrying about crow’s feet and frown lines that we often overlook signs of ageing elsewhere on the body. This luxe body oil contains anti-wrinkle rosehip and evening primrose to improve skin’s elasticity. The fresh citrus scent makes it a great one for post-workout pamper sessions, too.

Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil, £22

Use this at night either on its own or under your regular night cream and it’ll help boost skin’s elasticity, plumping out fine lines and gradually reducing the appearance of age spots caused by sun damage. It also works wonders on stretch marks, fyi.
