He's known for teasing his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid live on-air. And on Tuesday, Piers Morgan took things one step further by sharing a cheeky snap of the broadcaster getting glammed up ahead of their TV appearance.
The picture, which sees Susanna being tended to by two make-up assistants with just "minutes to spare", was simply captioned: "5.57am, and a desperate race against time to prepare our Queen for the nation. @GMB @susannareid100."
The post comes shortly after Susanna revealed she would be happy to go make-up free, encouraging women to not make comparisons with one another. Taking to Instagram, the 46-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter shared a picture of her bare face next to one of her all made up. "Me on Instagram = extra eyelashes, make-up & filters," she wrote. "Me in Real life = blemishes, lines & flaws. There's a time & value for both but don't compare your behind-the-scenes to others' highlights reels. Happy Being You Year!"
Last year, Susanna underwent a different beauty transformation as part of a campaign for Good Morning Britain. Susanna and her colleague Kate Garraway were aged 40 years by professional make-up artists to get an understanding of how it feels to be older for the ITV show's 1 Million Minutes campaign.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Susanna said: "It was such a shock to see myself aged forty years in just a matter of hours and it was a small insight into how it feels to look older. To think that there are around a million older people who are going to feel lonely and alone in December is upsetting and I really hope lots of people support our 1 Million Minutes campaign and make a difference to someone's life."
