Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is never seen looking anything other than flawless, whether she is on the red carpet or strolling through the airport after a long-haul flight. But she has admitted to suffering a rare beauty blunder while filming Mad Max: Fury Road, which left her with no eyelashes for three months

Speaking on Tuesday's This Morning, the model-turned-actress revealed that the incident happened behind-the-scenes of the action film. Rosie played pregnant character The Splendid Angharad, and had to have a complete body cast made of herself for some of the more extreme stunts.

"They put the cast over my head, it was a very weird and surreal moment," Rosie explained. "And as they took it off it pulled out all my eyelashes because the plaster got into my eyelashes and pulled them all out!"

The 29-year-old continued: "So for about three months I had no eyelashes. That was probably the biggest make-up or beauty fail and it was quite painful! It was quite dramatic as well."

Rosie also shared her beauty secrets, explaining that she prefers a more natural make-up look.

"My mum always told me make up should enhance, never hide, and you should celebrate your favourite asset," Rosie said, adding: "I don't follow any trends, I want to feel the best I can feel. It's always about feeling natural and polished and easy."

The British model's love of beauty has seen her launch her own make-up range at Marks and Spencer, and she previously told HELLO! that she tried to recreate some of her favourite cosmetics in the collection.

"The first thing I did was go into my make-up bag and look at the products that I have used over the past 13 years and can't live without," she said. "The products that make-up artists have recommended to me, the colours that I love, the textures that are versatile."

She added: "I really wanted to create on-the-go products for busy women; make-up that can be used quickly and easily to put together a polished look in minutes; that can be thrown into your handbag; products that are blendable and buildable."
