A new spray tan which combines real diamond dust with coconut water is set to become the must-have celebrity beauty craze this summer. The extravagant and sweet-smelling treatment from Hollywood-based company Madame LA LA (madamelala.com) will cost tan-lovers £95.00 and hasn't even hit beauty salons yet.
The tanning brand, inspired by Malibu beach, already counts high profile fans including Olivia Palermo, Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid and Vanessa Hudgens, all of whom will be offered the fruity new experience later this month. Mere mortals will have to wait until May when Fenwick of Bond Street will start to take bookings via the brilliantly named The Walnut Club (thewalnutclub.co.uk).

Founded by American-Brit Nicole Dash Jones, LA LA's new treatment also contains Aloe Vera, Green Tea and Vitamin E so that stars can anti-age while getting their glow on. "The tan leaves a gorgeous subtle sparkle but as an added bonus it smells amazing too," said a spokeswoman, "Tans of the past got a bad reputation for ageing the skin but this one leaves you glowing and looking a million dollars while helping to combat ageing."

Designed to radiate a pearlised luminosity, the ultra-fine diamond dust tan leaves a subtle glimmer on the skin lasting 24 hours only, while the LA glow lasts for up to 10 days afterwards.

For those not flush enough for the full diamond tan, the brand also offers a Hollywood Hills Spray Tan for £45.00. Instagram sensation Kim Kardashian famously had a diamond-dust spray tan before her wedding to Kanye West in 2014. The social media star, 36, wore a backless dress by Givenchy and her tan, by British brand St Tropez, cost an eye-watering £200. Kim is known for her love of spray tan and is often seen bronzing up on her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
