Being in the public eye can come with a lot of scrutiny and undeniable pressure to look good, look young and stay in shape. But Alesha Dixon is determined not to bow to these pressures, instead focusing on her inner strength.
In an exclusive interview with us, the Britain's Got Talent judge revealed that while she understands the expectation for women to look a certain way "because we live in a very superficial world," she makes sure she concentrates on more important matters.

"I prefer to focus on who I am as a person and what I stand for," she told us. "We all want to look good but I find it more rewarding to work on feeling good and going a bit deeper beneath the surface."
Many celebrities go through intense preparation ahead of a red carpet, but Alesha prefers to just take it in her stride. "I exercise to stay strong, healthy and stage-ready," she said. "I never prepare for a red carpet - I just go with the flow."
She does, however, love the fashion side of the red carpet. "I do enjoy the dressing up. I like to have fun with fashion and while the cameras can be a bit intense, I love the final result... I tend to treat the whole process with a pinch of salt!"
The singer looks stunning in the new campaign shots
Alesha is known for her colourful yet sophisticated style, and she recently incorporated it into a third collaboration with Little Black Dress. The star told us she had a lot of creative freedom in the process: "I create mood boards and then we source fabrics and design the dresses. We are trend led but also do our own thing! I want women to feel fabulous in our creations. "Alesha is particularly pleased that a percentage of the clothing goes to Refuge, a charity close to her heart.

The singer regularly shows off her style with stunning outfits on Britain's Got Talent, alongside her co-host Amanda Holden. The pair are known for their close relationship, and Alesha told us they help each other out with their style choices.
"We share fashion tips - and lots of things! Usually laughter and girlie talk," she said. "We have very different styles but we do try to complement each other."
And what's it like to prepare for the Britain's Got Talent live shows? "So much fun," said Alesha. "Six live shows, live fabulous looks - it's an opportunity to play around with different styles and trends. I love mixing it up and taking risks."
