Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been chosen by Parisian fashion house Givenchy as the new face of its classic men’s scent, Gentleman. The campaign has previously been fronted by Australian actor Simon Baker and although the details are being kept tightly under wraps until August, Givenchy Parfum’s chief executive officer told WWD that Aaron was chosen for a very good reason. “He knows how to dance. He knows how to sing. He’s funny, intense. He has an energy that we like a lot. For me, his personality is a mix of elegance, charisma, generosity and singularity.” he said

Meanwhile, over on Givenchy’s Instagram page, the brand have posted a striking black and white image of their latest muse to accompany their exciting announcement, writing: “We are pleased to announce our collaboration with English actor, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who will embody the new men's fragrance, Gentleman Givenchy starting August 2017. The British actor, who shot to fame in 2009 for his outstanding performance in Nowhere Boy, has also starred in romantic drama film Anna Karenina. Last year, he walked away with a well-deserved Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actor in the widely-praised thriller movie Nocturnal Animals.
During his rising big screen success, the 26-year-old’s sharp sense of style hasn't gone unnoticed - in 2015 he was named as one of GQ’s best dressed British men. The actor often pairs snappy, formal tailoring with streetwear-inspired pieces, making for a relaxed yet refined look that looks great whatever the occasion.
