Travelling to new corners of the world is an incredible experience. But it can wreak havoc with the beauty regime we've perfected at home - flying dehydrates the skin, packing restrictions limit the amount of products we can take and we might not have access to any beauty salons on our travels. So we've rounded up our top beauty travel tips and tricks to keep you looking gorgeous on your next trip...

1. Hydrate the skin

This is, hands down, the most important step. Nothing dries out our skin quite like the stale air on a plane. Drink plenty of water before and during your flight.

Chrissy Teigen is a big fan of an in-flight facial!

2. In-flight facials

You can add further moisture to the skin by giving yourself a facial. Use a sheet mask - our top product tip is Rodial's Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Hydrating mask - or, if you prefer to stay slightly more inconspicuous, a cream mask like Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask.

3. Carry face wipes

Before your facial, however, you need to cleanse your skin to rid of any bacteria (you don't want to show up at your destination with a blemish!). You can do this super easily with the help of a handy face wipe. They also help your skin to feel fresher.

4. Pack multi-purpose products

Save all-important space in your make-up bag by packing products you can use for more than one thing. Highlighter can also be used as eyeshadows, as can bronzers/contours.

5. Try a manicure hack

When you visit the nail salon before your next trip, get a clear moon shape at the base of the nails. It will look cute (nail art is still very much on trend) but it means that your nails will continue to look well-manicured after they begin to grow out because the change won't be as noticeable. Genius!

6. Pack dry shampoo

Take a travel-sized dry shampoo with you on a long-haul flight to help hide any oily roots, maintain volume and keep your hair smelling fresh.
