Since leaving hit show Made in Chelsea in 2012, Millie Mackintosh has established herself as a fashion and beauty icon. At 28-years-old, the Quality Street heiress has curated two collections of her own Millie Mackintosh branded clothing line, with a third launching very soon, has launched a jewellery collaboration, her own range of eyelashes and, most recently, her own beauty line; Millie Mackintosh Beauty. Speaking exclusively to HELLO!, Millie, a trained make-up artist, described launching her own beauty collection as "a dream come true" and revealed the exciting projects she has in the pipeline.
What made you decide to launch your own beauty collection?
"Beauty has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. I trained to be a make-up artist when I was 18 and have continued my love affair with everything beauty since. It's a dream come true to partner up with Boots as they are such an iconic British institution."
Which is your favourite product and why?
"The Couture Beauty would be my favourite set as it encapsulates all my favourite products for a full look. It's also a wonderful gift. Also I feel at my best when my skin is fresh and dewy so I'm very excited about the Glam & Glow Face & Lip Radiance Duo. By mixing a small amount of glow into your moisturiser or foundation it will enhance the texture and look of your skin. The lip colour balm is the perfect complement to the illuminator, creating a fresh finish."
What beauty products can't you live without?
"The By Terry Touch Expert Concealer is great under eyes and I love Sam McKnight's Lazy Girl Dry Shampoo for after the gym."
You've done fashion and beauty, what would you like to explore next?
"Fitness is a huge part of my life and something I am very passionate about. It would feel like a very natural extension of the brand."
