Here's what we discovered when we asked our marvellous males what they really wanted in their Christmas stockings this year.
We started with our Publisher Roger, who wants to impress over the holidays by coveting Dior Sauvage eau de toilette for Christmas. Aftershave is a tried and trusted classic to buy the man in your life for one very simple reason – guys like to smell great (and let's face it, we kind of like them to smell great too). Christmas is also a time for men to put aside that tired old bottle of the same aftershave that's been on the shelf for years and try something new!
Our Business Director Kevin fancies sorting out commuter stress and strife in his life with puzzles and games to fill his time. He said he'd love to be given some fun brain teasers this Christmas to challenge his mind, and it's the kind of thing he never actually gets round to buying himself. Something else we'd never have thought of but if you've got a commuter in your life, it's a great option.
Commercial Art Director Stevie isn't shy to say that he's after a great moisturiser and face scrub for Christmas, and fair play to him! We think the popularity on male grooming products this year will definitely be on the rise, as it appears that guys are becoming less and less bashful about admitting that they want their skin to look and feel great. And why shouldn't they? Good skin can improve both your mood, health and self-esteem, and if you want to avoid having to use your wife's concealer to cover those sneaky blemishes (we know you've all done it at least once) - a facial scrub is a great place to start!
Our Digital Brand Director Blake prides himself on his set of pearly whites, so we're not that surprised to hear he is after an electric toothbrush upgrade this Christmas. With an array of high tech toothbrushes on the market in 2017, this gift enables you to tick boxes for being both a practical gift but also a gadget - and there aren't many men who don't love unwrapping gadgets at Christmas time.
Our Video Assistant Philip is also very much about keeping up that skin routine, and we were a little surprised (but intrigued) to hear that he has his eye on a facial cleansing brush. Since these brushes leave you with smoother, more refreshed looking skin, we can't fault Philip for wanting to maintain his youthful glow! It also helps to avoid those unwanted blemishes since they unclog pores, and the best part? Using a cleansing brush would definitely help with nasty razor burn and help with a comfortable shave.
