We've had crown eyeshadow and now something even more peculiar has hit the beauty world - in the form of garden brows. That's mini gardens on your eyebrows. Just take a second to let it sink in. The crazy and surprisingly beautiful idea was the brainchild of vlogger Taylor R, the girl behind the equally zany Christmas tree brow trend. Taylor, a Canadian who lives in Hong Kong and has over 800,000 followers on her Youtube channel, has released a tutorial on how to achieve the look. She says: "I invented this look because there isn't much green in Hong Kong. Even the parks are concrete." The vlogger was also inspired by a stunning flower ring by Dior which she wanted to recreate on her body. "Spring is coming so I feel like you guys are in need of a new fresh look," she adds.

We have to admit, garden brows are pretty out there but as a one-off party look they're a fun trend to try. Taylor talks her followers through a step by step guide on Youtube and even uses real flowers in her facial greenery. "First step is to transform your eyebrows into grass," she explains, advising fans to use something sticky such as hair wax or eyebrow gel to create a messed-up brow effect.

Taylor uses green liquid lipstick to colour her brows green – she chose one by Jeffrey Star in the shade Venus Flytrap – but she suggests you could use green mascara or paint. Then apply it to a spoolie and start painting your eyebrows, making the brows look as grassy and bushy like as possible.
Next up are flowers – real, sticker or draw on. Taylor adds some eyelash glue and somehow sticks her teeny real flowers into the ends of her eyebrow hairs to look like actual stems. It's totally bizarre but quite amazing. The beauty star then sticks on cute little butterflies above her brows for the full garden effect. She completes her look with a touch of highlighter on the corner of her eyes and cheekbones for maximum impact.
