Beyoncé hardly ever reveals her beauty secrets, so when she does, we listen up! Especially when it comes to cheap drugstore buys the Renaissance global superstar has raved about, despite the fact she's worth half a billion!

We're sure that a lot of Beyoncé's beauty go-to's can be pretty pricey - for example, her makeup artist Sir John is a fan of using luxe products like UOMA Beauty’s $40 Double Take Contour stick and REN’s $58 Radiance Renewal Mask on his famous clients.

So we think it’s pretty incredible that one of the Bey-approved buys in her beauty bag is a $6.99 salve that she has said she uses for “everything”.

"I love the Rosebud Salve in the blue can,” Beyoncé once told Allure. “I wear it with my lipstick… I used it to prime my lashes before curling. It was like a natural mascara. It made the lashes hold the curl and look shiny. I use it for everything!”

The very affordable Smith’s Rosebud salve, which is commonly used as a lip balm but is technically an "all-purpose skin preparation" is popular on Amazon, where 4,700 shoppers have given it five stars – and like Beyoncé, have found it to be a real beauty multi-tasker!

One shopper described the salve’s “nice silky texture”, adding: “This stuff really does help chapped lips or is silky and smooth and it also is good for dry nails, cuticles and skin.”

Another reviewer said they “love” the Rosebud Salve. “I put it on burns after they have time to cool down, and lips. Lately I’ve been having issues with my eyes watering due to medication I’m taking, so I put a layer of it around my eyes to protect [them].”
