She is known for experimenting with her locks, having shown off a variety of outrageous styles including a multi-coloured beehive, a rainbow-hued hip-length ponytail and a Cruella de Vil-inspired 'do. Now, superstar songstress Lady Gaga has debuted her latest style – a full set of platinum blonde dreadlocks with shaved sides. The 26-year-old posted a snap of her daring new 'do on Twitter, pairing it with thick, dark eyebrows and red lips.
"Off to Peru, I love touring so much," she wrote. "I wake up smiling everyday. I hope you know I'm thankful for u this thanksgiving." In another image, the star poses next to a microphone in the recording studio. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga's personal trainer spoke out about the criticism that she has been getting over her weight gain, insisting that the star still looks great. Celebrity fitness expert Harley Pasternak told HollyScoop: "She was bloated and they took a bad picture of her. Have you seen her lately? She looks phenomenal." The singer thanked fans for their understanding of the "meaning of beauty and compassion" after supporting her during her 25 pound weight gain. She was quick to send to her fans, also known as the "little monsters", a tweet of gratitude.
She said: "Thank to my fans who love me no matter what, and know the meaning of real beauty and compassion. I really love you." The Poker Face star then went on to post a picture of the curvaceous beauty Marilyn Monroe on her account, which was captioned: "To all the girls that think you're ugly because you're not a size 0, you're the beautiful one. It's society who's ugly." The star also told radio host Elvis Duran: "I'm dieting right now, because I gained, like, 25 pounds." She added: "And you know I really don't feel bad about it, not even for a second. I have to be on such a strict diet constantly. "It's hard because it's a quite vigorous show, so I tend to bulk up, get muscular, and I really don't like that. So I'm trying to find a new balance."
