Kim Kardashian's hair and beauty looks are copied by fans across the globe, but this week the 35-year-old was the one recreating a look. The reality TV star took hair inspiration from her adorable daughter North West, styling her hair into a plait identical to her toddler's.

Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, who is often behind Kim's hair looks, shared a sweet candid snap of the mother-daughter duo rocking their matching looks at the salon, their backs to the camera while little North sitting on Kim's lap.
"North may or may not have had influence on our hair choice today @kimkardashian #MatchingBraids," she captioned the photo.
Kim was later spotted rocking the stylish braid as she headed out with close friend Jonathan Cheban. The Keeping up with the Kardashians star, who is pregnant with her and husband Kanye West's second child, teamed her look with a chic sleeveless black dress which showed off her baby bump, a matching blazer and a statement chunky gold necklace.

It's not the first time that Kim and her daughter have been spotted rocking similar looks. The pair often step out in matching outfits, from effortlessly cool neutral shaded ensembles for Kanye's New York Fashion Week show, to all-black ensembles for days out.
While on this occasion little North had her black locks worn back in a plait, Kim recently revealed during an exclusive brunch celebrating her birthday with fans that her two-year-old prefers to wear her hair down in curls.

"Kim said that North is obsessed with curly hair at the minute," Charlotte Heyes, one of the lucky invitees at the glamorous celebration, told HELLO! Online. "She will always ask Kim where her curls are if she doesn't have them!"
It seems that the mini fashionista has been getting her wish – her hair is often styled into adorable curly top knots for ballet class, or left loose, tumbling onto her shoulders.
