It was mania when Zayn Malik treated his Twitter followers to a selfie of his new grey hair, as some eagle-eyed fans spotted the glasses he was wearing belonged to rumoured love interest Gigi Hadid.
The heartthrob joins a whole host of celebrities who have rocked the latest grey hair trend, including Rihanna, Kylie Jenner and Ellie Goulding, but it was more than the slick locks that caught the attention of his Twitter fans.

The image showed the handsome popstar in a white t-shirt and a pair of tortoiseshell glasses, leading fans to further speculate that he and Gigi are an item. One Twitter user said: "zayn was wearing gigi's glasses in that selfie bye", another said: "zayn and gigi already sharing glasses. OMG relationship goals," and one excited fan joked: 'zayn and gigi shared glasses... I can't believe they're married with 3 children and 2 dogs."
The hot new couple were spotted getting cosy in West Hollywood after the Victoria's Secret model had attended the American Music Awards. The two were then pictured leaving Justin Bieber's after party together in the same car on Sunday night, fuelling the rumours further.
The former One Direction star didn't seem to hide his affection for Gigi, as he was seen placing his hand on her arm as they chatted intently – and it appears his feelings are reciprocated by the 20-year-old model. "They seem equally super into each other, texting each other all the time," a source told Us Weekly. "They've only been hanging out a couple weeks."

Sources say it's not just the model-of-the-moment's appearance that has won the 22-year-old over. "He thinks she's so hot. He takes interest in her shoots and videos she does. He thinks she's sweet, too. She talks about her mom a lot and her family, and he likes that." The budding couple have also been spending time with Zayn's friends, with the insider adding: "She drinks beers with the guys, she's cool and funny."
According to a source of Us Weekly, the pair are an item: "It's a very new thing. They're just seeing where it goes. I wouldn't call them boyfriend and girlfriend. But seeing each other? Definitely. He's chuffed."
Gigi and previous boyfriend Joe Jonas split at the beginning of November due to "heavy work schedules". Zayn, meanwhile, called time on his four-year relationship with fiancée Perrie Edwards in the summer.
