The British singer and songwriter showed off her new 'do which was worn down in a sleek and chic style as she performed her hit song Hello as millions tuned in for the final, which saw Louisa Johnson win the competition. Looking as impeccable as ever, Adele completed her glamorous look with smokey eye make-up to complement the elegant bejewelled black gown she chose for the evening.
Recent months have seen Adele rocking shoulder-length tumbling waves – and while she has had shorter hair before, this marks the first time we have seen her fully embracing a bob hairstyle.

Olly Murs shared a sweet snap of his meeting with Adele on Instagram
After her amazing performance on the X Factor, Adele headed backstage where she met Olly Murs, who has been co-presenting the series with Caroline Flack. Olly was clearly excited at meeting the star, and posted a sweet snap of the pair on Instagram, describing their meeting as an "honour".
"Honour to have this lady @Adele on @TheXFactor tonight!!" he captioned the photo, shared with his 1.3 million followers. "WHAT A WOMAN! WHAT A PERFORMANCE!! Love her."
Olly wasn't the only member of the X Factor family to share his excitement at the star's appearance on the show. When it was first announced that Adele would be a guest performer – along with One Direction, Coldplay and Leona Lewis – judge Simon Cowell confessed it was the "best news I've had all year".
Speaking on the X Factor red carpet on Thursday, the music mogul quipped: "It took me a while to think and make up my mind if I wanted Adele. Are you kidding?"
He added: "When we got the news and I had to keep quiet last weekend, it was like, this is the best news I've had all year."
