Blake Lively
Want sleek tresses like Blake Lively? The former Gossip Girl star confessed that salt water was the secret behind her locks. "My hair is always better in California than it is in New York, so I got a big water jug and I filled it with ocean, which is probably a really bad idea, but I would put it on my hair, and, actually, it worked. It’s salt and it’s water and it makes your hair a little crunchier and holds it a little better," she told Style.com.
Victoria Beckham
The fashion designer and entrepreneur has rocked everything from a short blonde bob to long wavy brunette tresses, but she revealed that if you like to experiment with hairstyles, it's better to stick to longer lengths. "I loved my hair short, but the great thing about having long hair is you can do so much more with it. It's a lot easier," she told Elle. That's what I like about long hair."
Jennifer Aniston
The Just Go With It actress revealed that to get her famous tousled waves, she doesn't always wash her hair on in-between days, even if she's gone for a workout. "A little sweat in the hair is nice," she told Fashionista. It's like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers and it's actually just fun."
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini
Cheryl often wears her glossy brunette tresses down in tumbling curls – but she revealed she tries to avoid using too many products to achieve her glamorous look. "I've also discovered that I don't really like to weight it down with styling products," she told HELLO! about her hair. "So I tend to have it rough dried and tonged with my jumbo tongs, to give a wave with the ends left out rather than a full curl. If it goes too curly I like to let it drop, then I just use my favourite Elnett. But, can I be honest with you, I still can't do it myself."
Kim Kardashian
The reality TV queen often rocks glossy, slicked back locks. To achieve the look, Kim admitted that the key is to avoid washing her hair too often. "I don't wash it every day," she told Into the Gloss. "We start with a blowout on day one, then we go into a messier vibe the next day, and then we flat iron it and do a really sleek look on day three since that requires a little oil in the hair. Day four could be a slicked-back ponytail, and on the fifth day is when you wash it. That’s a little excessive, maybe."
Cindy Crawford
The supermodel shared her handy trick for getting her soft waves. "I found that if I sleep in a loose topknot, when I wake up in the morning, my hair is still smooth and has the added benefit of having some pretty waves as a result. The key: DO NOT use a ponytail holder. Instead, I secure it with one very large bobby pin. This way, it doesn’t get frizzy and there are no marks," she told Into The Gloss.
Pixie Lott
The British songstress regularly turns heads with her trademark blonde locks, and revealed that she had to change the way she dyed her hair in order to keep her locks healthy. "I used to have bleach but it was really damaging," she told HELLO!. "Now I have an all-over tint, then a toner left on to take the yellow out. My hair feels in much better condition."
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
The English rose revealed that she tries to stick to the same few hairstyles in order to have a fuss-free beauty routine. "I always make sure my hair is quick and easy. I’ll blow-dry it, throw it up in a bun, put a couple of pins in it, and let it set for an hour or overnight. When I take it out, I have loose waves," she told Vogue. "If I have time I might put a [curling iron] through it. If I have no time, I’ll go with wet hair, a centre part, and a really slick bun in the back. It’s a severe, tougher look for me, so I like that. Those are my three looks—that’s as far as it goes. Anything else, I call in a hairdresser!"
Miranda Kerr
"I wash my hair every second day with Clear and then I like to get head massages," the Australian beauty explained to Beauty Haven. "I also rinse my hair with cold water after I’ve shampooed and conditioned, because it closes the hair shaft and makes it really shiny. So I feel like that’s a good tip."
Suki Waterhouse
Suki's career as a model and actress sees her travelling the world and constantly playing with her long, beachy waved hair, but confessed to HELLO! that she has one simple trick for keeping her tresses healthy. "But the only way to keep my hair looking good is to use a mask, because in this business your hair gets beyond battered by all the styling and heat and colour changes," she said.
Zooey Deschanel
The New Girl star often wows her fans with her long, full curls – and recreating her look is super easy. "I prefer a set, like a roller set, or I'll use a combination of rollers, like Velcro rollers on top and a hot roller on the bottom," she explained.
