Strictly Come Dancing star Georgia May Foote has gone for a completely new look to kick off the new year. The 24-year-old was virtually unrecognisable in a selfie she shared on Instagram, revealing she had opted for a new colour and had a fringe cut in.

The former Coronation Street star took to Instagram to show off her new look, which includes her dark chocolate brown locks into lighter brunette hues and highlights, as well as opting for a striking blunt fringe to complete the makeover.
"New Year, New Hair thanks to the best hairdresser a girl could ask for @richardphillipart thank you! X," she wrote to her 397,000 followers.
Earlier that day Georgia had teased her fans with a black-and-white selfie of herself and close friend Katie sitting in the salon's chairs, as they waited to get their hair dyed. "Felt like we was 3 and playing grannies again," she quipped in the accompanying caption.
It could be that the brunette beauty is looking for a fresh start this year, following the news that she and boyfriend Sean Ward reportedly split.

It's been a busy few months for the star, who was a runner-up in the Strictly Come Dancing final in December with dance partner Giovanni Pernice. Despite being praised for having performed an almost perfect Charleston during the final show, Georgia lost out on the title to Jay McGuiness who was crowned king of the dance floor.
"I feel spaced out and really weird," he said after being announced as the winner and receiving the show's glitter ball trophy.
Turning to his partner Aliona Vilani he added: "You deserve it so much. I just think it was one of the most special things I've ever done with the most special person. Anyone who watched us and helped us get here… Thank you."
