Taylor Swift wowed with her new bob at the Grammys on Monday night

The Shake It Off hitmaker turned heads as she showed off her new 'do, which has seen her chop inches off her hair and add a full fringe. Although Taylor has been rocking a shoulder-length bob hairstyle in recent months, her latest makeover seems to be her shortest hairstyle to date – and fans immediately took to social media to compliment the star on her new look.

It was a successful evening for Taylor, who not only floored the audience with her performance of latest hit Out of the Woods, but also took home three awards – Best Music Video for her hit Bad Blood as well as the awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for 1989.

It also marked a particularly special milestone for the young star, who is the first woman to have won Album of the Year twice at the Grammys – and Taylor celebrated the achievement with an inspiring message for women around the world.

"As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame," she said during her acceptance speech.

"But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday, when you get where you are going," she continued. "You will look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment."
