Kaley Cuoco finished filming the latest season of The Big Bang Theory this week, and decided to mark the moment with a drastic makeover. The 30-year-old revealed that she opted to ditch her short bob and add hair extensions to her locks, for a longer, voluminous style.
Kaley Cuoco celebrated another season of The Big Bang Theory with a new hairstyle
The 8 Simple Rules actress posted a series of snaps on Instagram as she had the extensions put in by hairstylist Faye Wood, who also creates her hairstyles on set.
"It's very important for me to change my look after wrapping each season :) I love playing Penny, but it's good for me to bring it back to Kaley," she explained to her 2.6 million followers. "Last year chopped it all off – this year I'm doing the opposite. With the extension master @faye.woods…. Stay tuned!"
The actress opted to add length to her style with extensions
A few hours later, Kaley once again took to the social media website to unveil the final results, showing off her new 'do which now sees the length falling below her shoulders. Kaley also revealed that Faye gave her a new "epic colour", adding darker blonde and brunette hues to her locks for an ombré effect.

Kaley has been rocking a short bob in recent months
No doubt Kaley will be making the most of a well-deserved break after filming another season of the hit TV show The Big Bang Theory. The star has previously opened up about her hopes that 2016 will be a "much better year" after last year saw her ending her two year marriage to Ryan Sweeting.
"You know, last year was very bizarre and we go all through really weird ups and downs," Kaley admitted during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "And sometimes I'm a little bit more seen. And everyone goes through that stuff.
"So I already feel like 2016 is going to be a much better year than 2015. And ya know, it's been rough, but things are good. I'm much, much better now. I'm in a much better place than I was."
