The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, gave her royal fans some major spring hair inspiration as she opened Hampton Court's Magic Garden on Wednesday. The mother-of-two looked the epitome of chic with her hair worn in a half updo – with a twist.
Kate added a twist to her classic half updo
Showing off her beauty credentials, Kate opted to twist the front two sections of her glossy brunette tresses and then pin them back to create the eye-catching 'do. The rest of her locks were styled into cascading, voluminous curls for ultimate laidback glamour. The 34 year old completed her beauty look with barely-there make-up save for a hint of eyeshadow.
The stylish royal also turned heads with her chic ensemble, wrapping up in a coat by Michael Kors, which she previously chose during her 2014 tour of Australia with Prince William and the couple's son Prince George. She finished her look with a pair of her trusty nude heels, carrying her essentials in a small clutch bag.

It's not the first time that Kate has mastered the braid hair trend this spring. Princess Charlotte's mother wowed during her and William's royal tour of India and Bhutan earlier this year when she chose an elegant braided updo as she met the Prime Minister of India.

The British beauty swept her hair into a low chignon with a middle parting for the meeting at New Delhi's Hyderabad House, adding plaited detailing to the bun itself for a striking finish.
HOW TO RECREATE KATE'S ELEGANT BRAIDED UPDO
It seems that the look quickly became a favourite for the Duchess, who was spotted with the same hairstyle when she paid a visit to Pan Bari Village a few days later.
