Victoria Beckham's long, brunette tresses have become iconic, but on Monday the fashion designer decided to undergo a drastic makeover just in time for summer. The 42-year-old star gave her 11 million Instagram followers a serious case of hair envy when she revealed she had chopped inches off her locks, into a shoulder-length style.

The mother-of-four turned to hair guru Luke Hersheson to create her new look, sharing a sneak peek as he styled her new 'do into loose, tousled waves.

Victoria was clearly delighted with her new look, sharing a series of snaps of herself basking in the sunshine, accessorising her boho-esque curls with a daisy-chain floral headband. Her make-up, created by Wendy Rowe, was as flawless as ever, with the British beauty opting for soft smokey eyes and a hint of nude lipgloss.

Although the former pop star has been wearing her hair in a long style for years, it's not the first time that she has opted for a shorter length. Victoria has previously rocked a short, sleek bob, which became so iconic that beauty addicts around the world nicknamed it the 'pob', a nod to her role as Posh Spice in hit band the Spice Girls.

As she flaunted her new look in the summery shoot with Wendy and Luke, Victoria caused a frenzy amongst her followers when she revealed the shoot was part of her work with cosmetics giant Estée Lauder captioning one snap: "London in the sunshine X Kisses #VBesteelauder X VB."
The star has teamed up with the brand to created a highly-anticipated limited edition make-up range, which is set to launch in autumn. "I am thrilled to be launching this limited edition make-up collection with Estée Lauder," she said in a statement released by the brand when the news was first unveiled.
"The whole process has been both inspiring and eye-opening - from going back and revisiting the Estée Lauder archives through to working on the product with the Estée team, this feels like the perfect make-up partnership for me and my brand.
"I had long admired Estée Lauder the woman, and the powerful brand that she created, so I am excited to offer both of our customers this make-up range and play a small part in her vision for women."
