Selena Gomez just made TWO major changes to her hair

June 9, 2016

Selena Gomez has been flooring her fans with her striking hair and make-up during her Revival tour, and now the singer has once again upped the beauty stakes. The 23 year old made the most of some rare downtime between shows, and revealed she had a fringe cut into her long wavy tresses.

Selena Gomez debuted a striking new hairstyle on Wednesday

Celebrity hairstylist Marissa Marino, who has been creating Selena's hairstyles throughout the tour, shared a gorgeous selfie of the star on Wednesday as she flaunted her new 'do. Selena smouldered in the close-up snap, looking the epitome of casual chic in a cream knitted top, while rocking black winged eyeliner and nude lips.

The fringe isn't the only change that Selena has made to her hair. The Same Old Love hitmaker, who is a brand ambassador for hair giants Pantene, also debuted a new colour, choosing lighter brown hues with hints of blonde for a summer-ready makeover.

It's not the first time since embarking on her tour that Selena has experimented with the colour of her tresses. She recently gave fans major hair envy when she unveiled a fiery auburn shade – but it seems that just a few weeks later she has decided to go back to brunette, although still a shade lighter than her trademark dark chocolate brown locks.

Selena had previously dyed her hair an eye-catching auburn shade

There's no doubt that Selena constantly has fans coveting her glossy, textured hair, and the singer recently delighted her fans when she revealedher unusual trick for achieving the look.

"I don't wash my hair every day, which may sound gross, but it's actually really bad for my hair," she told Allure. "Some of my best friends actually can't go more than maybe two days without washing their hair, and for me, I give my mom and my dad all the credit, because I have thick hair, so it gets better the less I wash it."

Selena admitted that she sees a notable difference to the condition of her mane when she leaves it for a few days, although she added that she does spruce it up with a spritz of dry shampoo.

"By the third day, my hair actually holds pretty well. It just holds curls better, and it holds product better. It's so strange, but it actually works. I just use a little dry shampoo, and I tease it to keep the volume up. Usually by day four is when I have to absolutely wash it."
