Brooklyn Beckham has gone for a completely new summer look. The teenager, who is David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son, has swapped his brunette hair for a light, sandy blonde shade.

The 17-year-old took to Instagram to share photographic proof of his new cut, sweeping his locks to one side.

He gave a shout out to his colourist Alexis, who works at the Ken Paves Salon in Los Angeles.

It's no surprise that Brooklyn headed to the high-end hairdressers. Ken Paves is a close friend of Brooklyn's mum Victoria, and the celebrity hairstylist regularly works with the fashion designer.

Ken also counts Victoria's best friend Eva Longoria among his famous clients, and he helped create Eva's look for her wedding to Pepe Baston in May.

The beauty expert regularly shares photos of his muses Victoria and Eva on Instagram. He posted a photo of the former Spice Girl arriving in LA last week and captioned it: "Always proving the airport is her runway, @VictoriaBeckham glides effortlessly through LAX. #hair by @KenPaves."

The Beckhams are currently enjoying their summer holiday in the US, in the city they used to call home when David played for LA Galaxy. Brooklyn has been hanging out with his girlfriend Chloe Moretz, who he has been on-off dating for two years.

The couple confirmed their romance in May of this year, and ever since, the young sweethearts have been inseparable.

But the If I Stay actress has expressed her frustration over being mostly referred to as Brooklyn's girlfriend, despite her own achievements.

She told Glamour: "Seriously, you don't know how often I'm just described as 'his girlfriend'. And you think, 'Well, I've also been acting for 13 years, but don't worry.'"

She added of her famous boyfriend: "One of the reasons why dating him is great is that we both get what it means to have our lives twisted and torn apart and faked."
